ChatGPT came out of nowhere and caught most people by surprise. Some people are excited, thinking this is a technological singularity, a development that will change the world forever. More and more people think it sounds like a good thing, but let’s talk about that until this kind of AI can be applied to life.
Just as the invention of the steam engine caused the Industrial Revolution, the development and application of AI are also expected to affect the direction of the entire business community.
So which occupations will be replaced by AI？
- Programmer – A lot of job losses, senior programmers just need to translate user requests into AI prompt language, and then test acceptance.
- Financial investment advisers – Massive data calculation and market detection are completed by AI, and senior investment advisers only need to set AI trading rules and logic.
- Financial accounting – Manual entry and accounting will become a thing of the past.

It can be seen that, basically, jobs that are highly related to numbers and logic are easy to be replaced by AI. AI is much better than humans at processing data and logic, and it can be replicated indefinitely once AI models are built, data is learned, and tests are completed. High-speed 5G and 6G wireless networks are also providing a platform for data transmission with lower latency for AI machines, making their ubiquity possible.
In fact, AI is not a new thing, Tesla car self-driving, AlphaGo man-machine Go, Apple iPhone Siri. AI is already very close to our lives. The fundamental significance of ChatGPT as an epochal product, or even a technological singularity, is that ChatGPT easily passes the Turing test. You can’t tell if you’re talking to a real person or an AI. This is the source of both surprise and panic.
